Michael Hunt just destroys the Milwaukee Bucks, it’s a great read from one of
the more underappreciated NBA scribes out there. The best move GM Larry Harris
made was back in 2003 when he decided that the Bucks weren’t going anywhere,
were making too much money, and needed to rebuild. Now, we have to wonder, did
that edict come from owner Sen. Herb Kohl instead?

Sports. I should really give this its own post, but we’re a bit heavy on
that today: Adrian Wojnarowski takes a look at a David West/Chris Paul
relationship that - despite Paul’s distaste - has gone on for years. Awesome

Chronicle: Fantastic Sunday column from Jonathan Feigen, though I would
argue that giving a Flagrant-1 foul (though enticing) is a bit much. Why not, I
dunno, JUST STOP CALLING FLOPS?!?

In spite of the myriad complications behind the deal and the unsatisfactory
results that both teams would endure should the rumored transaction go through,
the Cavs and Kings are still trying to find a way to put Mike Bibby in a

interesting to see whether Geoff Petrie bites on a package of deals expiring in
2009 while shedding at least one longer-term deal. (Kenny Thomas expires in
2010.) You wouldn’t think one season of $8 million of cap salvation would be
worth it (especially considering Bibby’s deal expires in 2009 as well), but
after watching John Salmons impersonate Dwyane Wade for two months, I’ve
learned (again) not to question Petrie’s procedures."

Bucks coach Larry Krystkowiak was conducting his pre-game press conference
outside the team’s locker room and rookie forward Yi Jianlian was returning
from the court. He opened the door next to the locker room and began to enter
when teammate Charlie Bell yelled, ”Yi, you’re going the wrong way.” Yi was
about to enter the Nuggets dance team’s dressing room. ”I was going to follow
him,” Bell
whispered to a reporter after he had pointed Yi in the right direction."
